Celebrating Milestones and Embarking on New Journeys in May
Dear School Community,
Welcome to the May edition of our newsletter! We celebrated several milestone moments in May. Firstly, we commemorated the commencement of our Grade 12 students as they embark upon a new chapter in college. Their impressive college acceptance includes those of the world’s top prestigious universities! We also celebrated the transition of our Grades 4 and 5 students, who will enter their middle-years program in the upcoming new semester. Sharing all these great achievements from the past month brings us immense pleasure. We wrapped this academic year to a promising end and also look forward to the many new things coming in August.
Regarding academics, teachers completed the analysis of CAT4 and PSAT test results conducted in April. Since the beginning of this month, they have been implementing personalized action plans and guidance for each student, tailored to address their unique learning needs. These interventions aim to enhance critical thinking skills, reinforce foundational concepts, or provide enrichment opportunities to challenge and motivate learners. Our unwavering commitment to personalized learning and student success is reflected in these targeted actions.
Moreover, May was a month where our students’ learning accomplishments were fully demonstrated. Toward the end of the semester, students showcased remarkable progress through various projects and presentations. They exhibited an impressive array of skills during the Science Fair, project presentations, TedEd Student Talks, Cultural Day Exhibition, and more. Last but not least, congratulations to the drama and music recital performers! Whether it was showcasing academic achievements, presenting skills, or displaying talent, our students consistently demonstrated excellence and growth in all areas, positioning them as leaders and role models in our community.
As we embark on a new chapter, our school is proud to share that the journey ahead is filled with opportunities and promises. During our Open Day in May, Dr. Tarek Razik eloquently outlined his vision and mission for our institution, discussing what it means to be a great school and defining success. A detailed recap of his address can be found in another article within this newsletter. Thank you for your acknowledgement and support. Communication remains a key aspect of our school community and we are committed to further enhancing it in the upcoming school year.
Finally, we are deeply grateful to those who have kindly introduced their friends to our school community. Your support and word-of-mouth recommendations are invaluable to us and have significantly contributed to the growth and dynamism of our school. Thank you for your unwavering support and faith in our institution. In the coming semester, we eagerly anticipate welcoming numerous new students to our campus.
Thank you for being a cherished part of our school community. We eagerly look forward to sharing more exciting news about the upcoming summer and updating you on our preparations for the new school year in our next monthly newsletter.
Warm regards,
School Leadership Team
